Special Projects – Excel, Olympics 2012

TONE were contracted to provide a temporary walkway, approximately 160m long, to gain access to the Excel building from the train station for the 2012 Olympics. The ramp was constructed with Tube and Fitting scaffolding. It was covered in anti slip flooring; clad a metre high with warm to touch handrails and hand lampposts installed with rest areas all the way down. The ramp also had a staircase installed at one end.
